We want every part of buying from Tashi Gallery to feel personal and reassuring. Here is how we look after our clients.

Making an enquiry

Found something you like? Use the enquiry button on any product, or our contact page. Tell us the piece and any questions, and we will reply personally - usually within one to two business days - with price, condition, measurements and photographs.

Payment

As each antique is unique and priced on enquiry, payment is arranged directly once you decide to proceed. We will confirm the available and accepted payment methods with you at that time. We do not store card details on this website.

Shipping & packing

We pack every item carefully for safe transit and ship both within Nepal and internationally. Shipping costs depend on the size, weight and destination of the piece, and we will quote these clearly before you commit. Delivery times vary by location and courier.

International delivery & customs

For overseas clients we can advise on export and any documentation needed to send older items responsibly. Please note that import duties or taxes in the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer; we are happy to provide the paperwork couriers require.

Authenticity & condition

Antiques are sold in their existing condition, with age-appropriate wear that we describe honestly. If you would like extra photographs or details before deciding, just ask. You may also enjoy our guide on how to tell if a Tibetan antique is authentic.

Caring for your antique

Handle with clean, dry hands and support heavier pieces from the base.
Dust with a soft, dry cloth; avoid harsh chemical cleaners and abrasive polishes.
Keep away from prolonged damp, direct heat and strong sunlight.
Leave old patina intact - it is part of the value and history of the piece.
